Neither my painting or the photograph depict the actual beauty of this amazing place called Mudjin Harbor. My husband and I traveled to the cluster of islands known as Turks and Caicos. We stayed on the most populated island of Providenciales but decided to go exploring one day. After talking to other tourists about the beauty of the other less populated islands nearby, we were off. We took a ferry to North Caicos and had arranged to rent a car for the day. We left early AM and actually saw the sunrise on the ferry!!! Wow! After my husband tried to adjust to the British driving style, everything being opposite from USA, we had the best day and discovered so many unbelievable beaches completely empty of people. Mudjin Harbor, Bambarra Beach, Flamingo Pond are just a few of our exciting stops.

Mudjin Harbor, located on Middle Caicos, is hidden from the road and took a little work to finally get there, but was it ever worth the trouble. It was a very hilly terrain that you could climb and look down on the ocean and harbor.
Blue Horizon Resort has cottages tucked into the hillside overlooking this magnificent view. Can't wait to return and  reserve a cottage there someday. Hope your choice today will be to enjoy the view!

Also wanted to share some exciting news! I was selected as one of the top 3 picks by art critic, Brian Sherwin for the FASO Daily Art Show. Click here to see which painting they picked!!!
