During our trip to Cuba we were lucky enough to make 2 visits to the beach!!!! Both days we were there it was filled with families everywhere! This little girl caught my eye with her determination to her digging. The pink and blue colors were a great combination for a painting. I love how this turned out and had such a great time playing with all the colors. I never get tired of painting sand and every time I choose different colors to get the right reflection from the sun. It is always a GREAT day when I am at the beach or painting a beach!!!!!!!! Awwwwwwww!!!!!!

Four guys and two girls on our trip to Cuba. We walked to the beach one night at sunset and watched the sun drop into the water. As we were walking back I took this quick photo of "The Guys" and had fun painting it, especially the sky! It was a gift to one of the guys and hope he enjoys it. Oh, I have so many photos to paint and having such fun remembering the trip with each painting I create. I just love playing with the paint!!! Yea! Choose to do something you love today, it makes life feel better!

As we were leaving the beach one day on our trip to Cuba, our group saw this amazing car in the parking lot. The owner of the car was kind enough to have two of our group sit inside for a photo. I couldn't resist attempting to paint them. I'm not the best with painting faces but got a little help from a great teacher! The car was fun to paint but the faces a little more challenging! It is all a fun learning experience. Gave them as gifts to Jeremy and Kim and hope they enjoy!!

We recently had all my trip mates over for dinner to have a wrap up meeting about our mission trip. They all made such an impression on me and the good works they each did while in Cuba, that I wanted to give them a little something to remember their trip. This is a painting from one of the pictures I took while visiting Havana. A typical street scene at night strolling down the many streets filled with interesting sights and people. This was for our fearless leader of the group and so grateful for all his leadership. Thanks, John!!

Gallery 104 By Josephine Hardison

Check out the back wall at Gallery 104 in LaGrange, KY!!!!
So excited to have been juried into Gallery 104 ( Click here to check it out) in LaGrange, KY. I spent the day hanging my paintings and they gave me the entire back wall! So much fun placing them in new locations. So many talented artists there and blessed to be hanging out with them all. LaGrange is such a cute small town with a courthouse in the town square and railroad tracks down Main Street. It is a perfect place to slow down, have lunch and do a little shopping. Stop by if you are in the area! You just might find something for your home.

From beaches to flowers, boats to food and a little beach girl, oh my, oh my, which to choose??? What a fun part of shopping.
There may not be any posts for a week or so. Don't panic, all is well and I'm not saying but it may have something to do with a beach. Pictures to follow!!!!!!!

Just completed this for an August fundraiser for ECHO                 (Exploited Children's Help Organization). My husband has been on their board for many years and it does lots for children that can't help themselves. It was fun to paint happy children playing on the beach. The proceeds from the purchase of this painting will allow many of the services that ECHO provides to help children have a chance to be happy. Twirling By Josephine Hardison

My choice today and the past few weeks has been to clean out my house to make room for my daughter to move back home. I haven't been painting as much and I miss it. During the cleaning of the closets I found this old photo of my 24 year old daughter when she was about 4 or 5. We were at the beach with friends and  she was just twirling to see how fast she could spin. What great memories!!! I also like how my painting turned out. I may have to keep this one for myself! I hope your choice today is to make some fun summer memories of your own!
