Saw this cute photo on a friends Facebook page and asked if I could use it as a photo reference for a painting. It was of her granddaughter and I loved the green pail and was so much fun to paint. It is vacation time and many families will be heading to the beach. If you have a photo I could paint just email me at jyhardison@att.net. I never get tired of beach paintings. Every time I paint one it feels like my toes are in the sand.

This weekend is Arts on the Green in LaGrange, KY

Lots of fun things going on in this adorable little town. It reminds me of my hometown in Alabama. There is a courthouse in the center of town and cute shops around the square. Just off the square is GALLERY 104 and yes, I am so honored to be Artist of the Month for June. I just took lots of new pieces out and hung them just inside the front door. If you are in town for Arts on the Green, stop by the Gallery and check out my paintings!! My husband's band will be playing on Saturday afternoon, so I hope to see you there!!!
