| Ok, now that I am home and recovered from my trip to Alabama, I thought I would share some of the preparations it took to get there! It was great fun and very successful, but it took many hours of planning. I decided I needed some covers for all my paintings to travel without getting damaged. I bought white felt (it was the cheapest but thick enough to protect) and stitched each side to fit the painting. I then decided to add 2 pieces of ribbon on either side of the opening to tie together. It also makes a great bag to place the paintings in once purchased. It was very easy and kept them all cozy and warm for their trip South! |
